River Gallery is hiring a Part Time Sales Associate to become an integral part of the team!
Customer service, selling artwork, shipping, exhibit hanging, are some of the daily responsibilities for the part time assistant.
Welcome and identify customer needs
Explain art works and gallery services to customers
Gift wraps and ships purchases
Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
Enter and process customer orders
Investigate and carry out customer follow-ups
Be able to communicate well with artists
Available for weekends, holidays, and evening events
Learn how to care for art (display/store/ship)
Maintains the highest standards of cleanliness in gallery
Accepts other duties as assigned
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build rapport with customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have an art background
Work well within a team environment
Self-sufficient project-based worker
