Opening Reception: Friday, April 4 6:30-8:00pm Graceful figures abound in our April exhibit. Margaret Dyer achieves an intimacy in her pastel paintings that radiates through her figures. She excels in capturing the living landscape of the figure as seen in everyday moments. Sculptor, Russell Whiting, allows his subconscious voice to influence the creation of his steel figures. While classical forms and cultural events may offer basis for his figures, their uniqueness exists in the contemporary execution of his process. The figure merits a closer look in our April exhibition.
