Opening Reception: Friday, March 7 6:30-8:00pm Our March artists question the effects of time and motion in relation to design. Cathryn Miles sets the pace of city life in her urban landscape paintings. Her bold brush strokes seem to direct the motion of her figures while defining them in a greater design context. Henry Mitchell summons reflection through his wooden sculptures. His fluid forms shift the focus from the journey of the material to the innate beauty revealed in their design. Whether in the serenity of the sculpture or the energy of the scene, progress comes forth in our March exhibition.
