Opening Reception: Friday, January 4 6:30-8:00pm The January exhibit expands our notion of everyday life by transforming familiar scenes into intricate works of art. Heather Allen-Swarttouw layers vintage and new fabrics to create the hallways, doorways, and staircases that she captures in her fiber works. Karen Linduska stitches, stamps, and sews anywhere from thirty to fifty layers to compose her fantasy garden fiber series. Richard Conn brings his amazingly tactile and graceful metal sculptures to complete the exhibit. The metal and fiber arts are bound to ensure an enticing exhibit.
