October 1-31, 2007 Pondering Opening Reception: Friday, October 5, 6:30-8:00pm Mysterious women and landscapes direct the flow of this exhibit. Scott Hill’s somber oil landscapes include travelers discovering their own pathways through daunting atmospheres, brave lone wanderers. David Kidd’s acrylic panels depict flowers, birds, and landscapes floating airily on brightly colored backgrounds. Kathleen Holmes’ ceramic women force viewers to think about decisions, a woman’s freedom, and her beauty. Jan Kransberger creates beautiful kiln cast glass woman wearing boas and jewels, cloaks and flowers, sometimes in a series and almost always dancing or dreaming.
