Mark Chatterley returns to River Gallery and the Sculpture Garden this summer in his solo exhibition, Man & Meaning. With a refreshing take on the age-old art of sculpting, Chatterley’s large-scale ceramic sculpture finds its focal point in the metaphysical of the figure. Reaching out to others with his imaginative forms, he conjures a certain whimsy that is not easily forgotten. His resonating sculptures say something different to everyone as they leave a vibration signifying man’s place in existence.
