April 1 - 30 Opening Reception: Friday, April 6, 6:30-8:00pm
Materials, objects and images find new life and purpose with our April Exhibit artists. The Whipple family are masters at collecting and re-creating their varied, mixed-media works. Marty Whipple’s imaginative ‘wearable sculpture’ pieces are delightful to see and wear. John Whipple’s mixed-media creations, like the different faces he paints, are unique in personality and material. Lynn Whipple, well known for her mixed-media “Ninnies,” show us how it is done with new-to-us faces from old photographs that will be sure to make you smile. Newcomer Kathy Jacobs joins the mixed-media crew with her rendition of found-object sculptures.
