I began creating art at a young age, learning from various family members, especially my mom. I enjoyed painting and drawing, but I loved creating sculpture with anything I could get my hands on. That love of sculpture led me to work with clay in high school, and eventually major in fine arts with a concentration in ceramics.
I wanted to master throwing on the wheel because I felt like that was what a ceramic artist should do; however, I realized my strength was in trompe l'oeil and immortalizing life around me in clay.
I enjoy using this humble gift to honor the beauty that God has created in the world.
