Full Statement Media: Jewelry, Sculpture, Metal, Paper Pages: 12
After studying architecture, he spent twenty eight years in the field of graphic design. During the last twelve of those years he was the sole proprietor of a design studio serving regional and international clients. He has since chosen to pursue his interest in fine art and crafts. In this pursuit he has studied under printmaker, Mary Lou Sussman: attended Penland School of Crafts and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts.
He has produced works in the disciplines of photography, computer generated imagery, painting, mixed media, ceramics, printmaking and jewelry. The current focus of his work is the exploration of paper in sculpture. Wade is represented by galleries in the southeast and has participated in numerous exhibitions. His works are in private and corporate collections nationwide. He also has work included in traveling exhibitions of the American Print Alliance, Florida Craftsmen, Inc. and the Brevard Art Museum. "The ability to conceive and produce art is a divine gift and one that should be generously shared. I strive to create clean, simple imagery representing complex issues and to present works that stimulate as well as please." |
